Most rolling papers are bleached white using chlorine or calcium carbonate. Unbleached means no chemical treatment — the paper keeps its natural tone and stays as pure as the plant it came from.
Hemp paper burns slower and cooler than wood pulp or rice paper, with less ash and a cleaner experience. For us, unbleached is not a feature — it is a philosophical position. Nothing added. Nothing hidden.
Our papers are approximately 12–14 GSM — among the thinnest available for hemp rolling papers. At this weight, the paper almost disappears in use, letting the material speak for itself.
Slow burn means approximately 30–40% longer than standard papers of comparable size — more time in the moment, less rushing to the next one. That is the ritual.
The Shoonyaa Signature Roach Book contains 50 unbleached hemp organic filter tips. No bleach, no synthetic fibres. Perforated for easy separation, sized for king size rolls.

Yes. All papers and tips are plant-based and vegan. The gum strip is derived from natural acacia gum — no animal products at any stage. The entire ritual is clean.

Shoonyaa (शून्य) is the Sanskrit word for zero — the void. In Vedic mathematics, Shoonyaa was not merely the absence of number. It was the foundation of all number — the potential from which everything emerges.
Ancient Indian mathematicians gave the world zero not as emptiness, but as the most generative concept in existence. We built this brand on that idea: the pause before the moment is where everything begins.
We are a lifestyle brand for the mindful. We draw from Indian philosophy — Sanskrit, Vedic tradition, the concept of ritual — but we are not a spiritual company in any commercial sense.
